Kodak Picture CD

I have a fairly new PC with Windows XP Home edition as
the operating system.

For the first time I had a Kodak Picture CD of my picture
during the printing process by one of Kodak outlets.
I have successfully installed the software included on
the CD but when I come to view the photos I get "Fatal
error occured" then "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime error
This application has requested the runtime to terminate
it in an unusual way. Please contact the applicant's
support team for further information"

I have contacted Kodak but they were unable to solve the
problem.
Can anyone help please!...

What are they?

Are you the computer administrator?

Are your video, printer, scanner drivers up to date?
