known issues between all-in-wonder 9000 pro and published flash files??

I just bought a brand new Dell system with XP, Direct X 9 and the
all-in-wonder 9000 pro card. I do a lot of video editing and Flash MX
animations in the productions I create for folks, so I upgraded to
this system to have a faster processor, bigger hard drive, better/more
versatile vid card to do my work.

When I tried to view my published Flash MX projector files on my new
system (exact same files that played perfectly on my old Dell with Win
2000, Direct X 8, Radeon 7000 card, as well as numerous other Mac and
PC systems)--the files behaved very bizarrely--shutting down the
projector, repeating parts of animations, losing sound, losing or
changing pieces of the animation--and they did slightly different
things each time I tried to play them. I tried to find out possible
causes for this strange
behavior from all kinds of forums, tech support people, etc and could
not. I upgraded drivers and players. The files continued to play
bizarrely. I finally just sent the system back.

Before ordering something else, I'm desperate to find out what might
have caused this issue. Any help wd be greatly appreciated.

I have this card on my system (Win2K Pro/SP4) with DirectX 9.0a. No
problems with Flash or video captures. Using the latest Cat 3.5 drivers
(06/23/03) and MMC 8.5.

If you could point me to some Flash MX projector files on the web
somewhere, I'll try 'em out and see if I have problems with them...

I LUV this card! Especially the new features of MMC 8.5 (Easy Look being
one of them!) plus that neat looking RF remote control! I upgraded from
an ATI AIW Radeon (the original one from several years ago) so I've been
out of the loop for a while...

It's possible the ATI drivers were dated or not installed properly (i.e.
the capture drivers or the MMC s/w)...ATI drivers are buggy and known to
have install issues so it pays to do "due diligence" before messing with
them (check with da boys at http://www.rage3dpro.com). But my experience
within the last year or so (with the Catalyst drivers) is that ATI has
gotten a lot better in the install/uninstall department (still room for
improvement) but MUCH BETTER!
