known issues with radeon 9000 and Flash MX files??

I just bought a brand new Dell system with XP, Direct X 9 and the
all-in-wonder 9000 pro card. I'm not a gamer, but I do a lot of video
editing and Flash MX animations in the productions I create for folks,
so I upgraded to this system to have a faster processor, bigger hard
drive, better/more versatile vid card to do my work.

When I tried to view published Flash MX projector files on my new
system (exact same files that played perfectly on my old Dell with
Direct X 8, Radeon 7000 card, as well as numerous other Mac and PC
systems)--the files behaved very bizarrely--shutting down, repeating
animations, losing sound--and they did slightly different things each
time I tried to play them. I tried to find out possible causes for
this strange behavior from all kinds of forums, tech support people,
etc and could not. I upgraded drivers and players. The files
continued to play bizarrely. Finally had to send the system back.

Before ordering something else, I'm desparate to find out what might
have caused this issue. Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

9000Pro isn't DirectX9 optimized, downgrade to X8 and you'll be fine at
least I am with the same card.
