Kiosk presentation does not autostart when run out of focus

Hi newsgroup,
I am using a PowerPoint Show (pps) to display some information via a
beamer. If I run it manually, everything works fine. Though, if I run
it via an Startup entry, it is started out of focus because there is
some other software in the Startup folder. If so, it won't run until
you clicked it a first time. Is there any way around it, so PowerPoint
does not care, whether it's focussed or not?
I am using PowerPoint 2003.

Look at PowerShow add-in at
http://officeone.mvps.org/powershow/powershow.html. It allows you to run a
PowerPoint slide show continuously irrespective of whether the slide show
has focus or not.
