Macro enabled Power point using Kiosk mode

I have a presentation that is using VB to link from one slide to another in
random order based on what is clicked and I am unable to get the first slide
to work or advance when I save the file as: Macro enabled powerpoint show.

When you view the original PPT which is set up to advance only using the
mouse (Kiosk) and only the links I defined as "Clickable" the first slide has
a set focus and will advance using the mouse. I am now trying to save the
same presentation in macro show mode and the first slide will not advance.
(set focus, or bring to front the VB coded object so mouse over works)

***I am not going to use hyper links - they are to unstable and many users
dont keep their PC up to date so the point and click based PPT doesnt work
100% usign hyperlinks

Steve,
Version: 2007
The only way to use any object, picture, text box, etc as a
macro/hyperlink/action button and have it work successfully is to make sure
when layering multiple objects it is sent to "Bring to front". The problem I
was having is when I moved the object to the front it only functioned when
the presentation was in F5 mode (Show). When I went to convert the file into
a .PPS file and have it automatically open in presentation mode the picuture
would send itself to the rear and no longer give me the option of clicking on
it.

Therefore I had to figure out a way to make the object remain invisible as
it was only being used to layer on am image that was burned in the template
and not assignable as an action, hyperlink, VB (macro).

Keep in mind - it works when it is in PPT mode and when F5 is hit (show
mode) it works. The problem I had that I found a fix for is It doesnt work
when I save the file as a .PPS file - the action button, macro because it
doesnt have any color or border automatically assigns itself to fall to the
rear of all the other objects and becomes unusable when saved as a .PPS.

The fix was to assign a color to the object that matched the imbedded image
on my template and VB code it to advance to slide two when clicked, but the
image wasnt viewable. Once the slide advanced when saved as a .PPS I was
able to set the color and transparency level to 99% and you couldnt see the
color anymore and the slide moved forward as it once did when it was purely a
..PPT file.

This is obviously an issue when trying to save a .PPT as a .PPS file only
and KIOSK mode is enabled and the first shape or object used in the slide to
advance the slide has no color assigned to it "invisible" it will not advance
and hide itself in the rear making the slide unusable.

Last Statement: Yes macro is enabled...

1. PPS
2. When I put it in show mode F5 from my presentation its okay - it wasnt
linking to the next slide due to using insert shape and removing the color
and outline color to the shape to make it an invisible link box, which makes
sense with your last statement (Transparency Bug)
3. I'm not using a viewer - I view it as a normal presentation then create a
PPS file to distribute (the PPS file wouldnt work right until I modified the
shape and found a way to get around that bug)

Thank you

Yes - now that I know a bug is present and I cant have an object with no fill
or border and use it to link to another location in presentation.

Your the best
