i just purchased a Kingmax 512MB USB 2.0 Flash Drive. i
had one before it, except it was only 256MB in capacity,
and it worked just fine. but when i plug in the 512, my
system reads it as a security device, rather than as a
usb mass storage device, like it read for the 256 drive.
i cant install the drivers to run the drive because of
this. is there anyway i can force the drivers from the
256 to operate on the 512? if not, what can i do for my
system to recognize the part as an actual drive, as it
did with the 256?
