I'm not sure what "stuck on our computer"
means but if you are referring to your Desktop
Background (wallpaper) or your Home Page...

Can you describe the "web page stuck" and what does that mean in layman's terms

"web page stuck" IS layman's terms

We need a technical description of the problem - one that is familiar to all
who know the operating system.

We are not inside the O/P's mind to know what *HIS* description really
means.

Richard.

For this I have learned to ask in reverse. Then you will get a sort of a technical answer. You have to put yourself in their shoes as most today with technical knowledge were exactly the same at one point. They then think and describe the problem a lot better

Hi

I don't have Chrystal balls but I guess the OP has had
their IE home page hijacked?

Good guess. Didn't even occur to me that that could be the case.

If so, in Internet Explorer, Menu Bar, (ALT if not visible), Tools > Internet
Options, General tab, Home page at top of window

the kids have hotwheels page on the computer and it not going away its just
there it a web page not a wallpaper and it don't have a thing to X it off it
and there and to thing when you right click to close it out oh andi tryed to
deleted by deleteing it off as a home page but it still there if im not
making it clear enuff to you then thanks for the help

Try changing your desktop wallpaper.

Right click an empty area of the desktop, select Personalize >Desktop
Background, and choose from the Location drop down list

Or Control Panel > Personalization (classic view)

Hi Candie

Just to make it clear for me I am going to approach it this way.

If I understand you correctly and correct me if I am wrong is that you have the Hot Wheels page open on your computer and you are not able to close it.

This page is always there and takes up your WHOLE screen even after you close the computer and then you open it. Also it is there in the background when you open anything that is smaller than the whole screen.

Is this correct or my assumption is wrong.

Please let me know on the above so as we can help solve this issue for you

That is what I think is happening to her and that is why my post below. Just got to get a clear answer. -:)

I have taken screen shots and set them as wallpaper... that made it appear
as though the window was open, even though it was the wallpaper.
A nice trick to play on an IT guy, but may confuse an end user.
If IE won't close with the X, there are ways to end the task manually.

The OP does not have the X to click on. That is one of the things from many that is hanging up from understanding
the actual issue.

It is suggesting that Hot Wheels is set as the Wallpaper

Candie

Try Right click on Desktop and select Properties\Desktop and choose the previous desktop(Background) you had. Hit Apply and back out from there.
