Keywords database

Ed A

I need a database that allows me to store various summaries of articles from newspapers, magazines, online media outlets etc and then to call them up by a query. eg name of person, media outlet, date, keywords.

I assume this can be accomplished by using a database like Access but to program something properly like that is probably not something I can do easily.

There are litigation support databases as an example that can do this I am sure but I have not found any freeware that can do so.

Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like something "Agent Ransack" could handle.

Although it's not a database, I've found treepad excellent for this sort of
thing recipes, quotes, bits and pieces of all sorts, and it has a good
search facility that I have found will retieve anything I needed.

Very small and nice

Interesting product since it looks like a good file search tool but I am
looking for each use of a keyword in records within a file

It will do that.
I just ran it on a MySQL folder searching for files containing the text "
http* " and it showed (among other hits) the relevant records in my
"freeware links" tables.
Try it.....it's free.
