Keystroke recorder that works with Win2000?

I had to jump between three programs today: get a file number from Excel,
switch to our networked program and find the file, copy and paste into Word,
then repeat 47 times! I like using macros in Word and Excel for stuff like
this. But is there anything that works outside of the programs in the
Win2000 world that can record and play back the keystrokes (including
Alt+tab and shift+tab) for something like this?
