If it's the OnScreen Keyboard that you can access from Start>All
Programs>Accessories>Accessibilty then you should be
able to close it like any other window. Click the upper rt corner red box
with white x.
If you mean the virtual keyboard in Windows (osk.exe), there is an x top
right that will close it. or it has a file menu that says exit.
If you mean some other software keyboard, you would need to specify the
software.
