Hi All,

Firstly my apologies if this has been asked previously - my searches did not
reveal anything.

Having booted a windows 2000 server without a keyboard or mouse attached how
can I get the server to recognise the keyboard and mouse when I plug it in
sometime later.

In other words is there any way to configure windows to recognise and use a
keyboard and mouse when its plugged in, even if the system was booted without
these devices??

This would be useful in server rooms where occassionally it is necessary to
physically go to a machine and log-on to it - it booted without the keyboard
and mouse.

Many thanks
Bryan

Use a USB keyboard/mouse.
