I have a Dell XPS, running Winvista Ultimate. The

keyboard is a multimedia type keyboard i got with the

computer.

In Device Manager I have three devices with an

exclamation mark next to them.

Microsoft eHome MCIR 109 Keyboard
Microsoft eHome MCIR Keyboard
Microsoft eHome Remote Control Keyboard Keys

If I uninstall and Vista reinstalls them, the exclamation

marks remain.

Under 'properties' it say:

"Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware.

The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)"

Same for all three. Any help or suggestions would be

appreciated.

The obvious question is have you tried a different keyboard on the computer
or have you tried the faulty keyboard on a different computer.
The second most obvious question would be to ask if the manufacturer of the
keyboard has any drivers that you can download or provided any of them on a
cd with your computer.

Did you recently perform a Dell System Restore? If so you may have to
reinstall the drivers separate.
