Keyboard sleep button

Hello, my sleep button does not work on my computer, when
I go to shutdown my computer, the option of sleep is not
there, just the shutdown and restart features, what can I
do to get the sleep function back on my system?

Incorrect Hardware Abstraction Layer loaded during XP Setup which has
disabled the power
management features.

HAL Options After Windows XP or Windows Server 2003 Setup

Choose the appropriate HAL while repairing XP ( repair it again )
Force HAL while running XP setup:

Choose "ACPI Uniprocessor PC"
