keyboard shortcut

I made a kayboard shortcut to a program I recently uninstalled (including
it's desktop shortcuts). Now I want to assign the same keyboard combination
to another program, but when I try, it always starts to search for the first
program. Is there a way to clear the link between the combination and the
first program and use it again?
Thanks,
WH

May be easier to delete old shortcuts and create new ones for new program
with the shortcut keys.

Also try right-click on a given shortcut, then select Properties in pop-up
menu. Type in new information in the Target line near top in the next
dialog box.
