I bought a HP 9741C computer in Mexico with Spanish
Widnows 98.
Have since updated to Windows XP Home.
Now the spainish Keyboard does not work correctly.
IE the keys do not do what they say on them.
Can I fix this with an adjustment to the program

Not clear whether you're stating you installed an English version of
XP or Spanish version? Anyway, from control panel, open "Regional and
Language Options". Make sure you set everything to the language you
wish.

Type
To add another language
in the English XP's Help.

If you ask spanish questions in the spanish groups you will talk to people who have actually seen Spanish XP. Still you sacked the franco type bush collaborative government so the spanish can't be that bad.

Go to Control Panel - Regional And Language Options. Take the Language
page and click Details.
There if you do not see an appropriate layout under Keyboard for
Spanish (?) in the lower pane, click on Add and search for it in the
lower drop down, so you have the language of choice and the Spanish
layout in the two panes there. Click OK. Then in the parent page,
select this combination in the Default Input language in the top drop
down, Apply, OK and Apply any time it is available on the way as you OK
out. Then close and restart to bring it into use.
