Because of prolonged thunder and lightning in area last night, I shut down PC
and disconnected phone line. This A.M. I boot up, and go to use the keyboard.
Not working, discover that it's taking a full second for keystroke to
register [Have to hold key down till letter, etc shows up on screen] A reboot
didn't seem to help. Went to Windows help screen and noticed when I typed in
"keys sticking" that everything seemed to be working, checked email, Word,
etc. Everything back to normal, anyone out there can give me a clue as to
what may have happened. Still don't know what [if anything] I did to correct
the problem. But would like to avoid the same problem in the future,
generally I leave the pc on except in severe thunder and lightning storms -
maybe I shouldn't shut down - just cut the phone line???
