Each time I start my PC with Vista I see a Keyboard on my screen. Anybody
knows how to make it disapear ???? I have not figured out yet what to do and
i really don't need the Keyboard on my screen. Thanks

What edition of Vista? It sounds like you have enabled Tablet
functionality.

I've got Vista Home Edition .....I try to understand the thing with Tablet
functionality ???

With XP the Tablet Edition was a separate operating system that came
preinstalled on Tablets. With Vista the Tablet Edition is simply part of
Vista so you can use a standard PC like it is a Tablet. When you have
tablet functionality turned on a an input panel will appear on the screen
because the computer thinks you have a stylus (you can also use the mouse as
though it was a stylus). To find out more about tablet functions in Windows
click on the Start Orb and enter "tablet" in Start/Search.

Hi swisscanada,

To solve your problem, click the start orb and type 'ease of access center'
into the search box. In the 'Programs' section of the results panel, click on
this program. Under the 'Explore all settings' section, select 'Use the
computer without a mouse or keyboard'. On this page, click to remove the tick
from 'Use On-Screen Keyboard' and then click 'Save' to close this page.
Finally, close the 'Ease of Access Center'.
