Keyboard & Mouse don't work with windows XP

hi there
Can somebody help me?. I am running Windows ME and I
wanted to use Window XP I did format C drive to install
windows XP everything went ok till the keyboard and mouse
didn't do it anymore therefore I could not install it
windows xp. Can somebody tell me why is that?

Do you perhaps have USB keyboard and mouse? If so, go into BIOS and set
Legacy USB devices to be "Enabled", then try again.
