Keyboard Malfunction

After hitting the Shift+P keys the keyboard starts to malfunction. Keys that
you press do not work and the shift key also does not work.

I've deleted the keyboard device driver and rebooted to let it reinstall.
This works until the Shift+P keys are hit again and I repeat this vicious
cycle.

This is a laptop with Win2K

Reboot the machine with a Win98 boot disk from www.bootdisk.com,
then repeat your test. If the problem persists then your keyboard is
faulty. If the problem disappears then you have a Win2000 problem.
