Can anyone help me find help on configuring specific
keystrokes and words that I can access easily in one
motion? I guess this would be considered a macros.

Thx,
DJ

My favorite is EZMacros. I've tried others and keep coming back.

$29.95, and worth it, IMO.

What I use is Shortkeys (www.shortkeys.com) for both expansions of short
sequences (which I usually lead with x so they won't happen by accident)
or for on-the fly correction of typos. It has a free Lite version (up
to 35 'templates' to try out

which I usually lead with x so they won't happen by accident

Quite important, but a quicker way is just to double the first letter of
the macro. For inserting date, I just type ddate. Don't have to lift
the finger for an extra keystroke.

Do I have too much time on my hands or what?
