Keyboard layout under DOS in Vista

B

bostjan

I run Vista Business with Slovenian keyboard layout.

When I run CMD it shows local characters properly and keyboard layout
is also ok. But if you run command.com or run any other DOS
application, it changes keyboard layout to US. It doesn't matter if
you run program in CMD window or directly with shortcut.

How do we solve this issue? Under regional settings it's all set to
Slovenian, without possibility to even switch to English (in language
bar etc.)

TIA

Found a solution, at least until Microsoft solves this bug.
Add the following line to autoexec.nt solves my problem:
KB16 yu,852

YU is language abbreviation and 852 is codepage....

Hope this helps others too...
