Keyboard Layout Problem

E

ehouli

I have just installed Vista Business in english and I have been using
since last year a Wireless keyboard, it's the Microsoft Wireless
Comfor Keyboard 1.0A Model 1027, this keyboard is in Spanish, and in
XP Professional (which I have in english too) had set it up using the
Spanish Modern Sort Layout and worked really well.

Now, since I installed Vista Business can't find a spanish layout that
suites my keyboard, for Example, the @ "2" Key instead of the "Q" Key.
Same goes with accents and other spanish characters.

I already downloaded and installed the latest version of Intellitype,
but it didn't help.

Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks

Open Control Panel/Regional and Language Options. Click the Keyboards and
Languages Tab and then the Change Keyboards Button. Select the Add Button.

Scroll down to the Spanis selections and choose whichever layout you wish to
use. If you do not see the one you are looking for, click the + sign next
the selection and again in the Keyboard menu. Click the More check box to
expand the menu.

Ronnie,

Thank you very much for your help, along your explanation, found that
the best one for the Wireless Optical Desktop 4000 Keyboard sold in
latin america, is just that: Latin American Layout, is just that my
keyboard was stuck with Spanish Traditional.

Erick.
