But on the whole MythBusters are reasonably careful.
Since you mention 120v bulbs, I'm assuming they used domestic lightbulbs
(hard to get filament ones here in the UK now!), presumably in
stationary fittings. For a torch (flashlight), it is IMO moderately
likely that it would be being moved at the time of switchon - if only
due to the movement involved in actually operating the switch. This
_might_ be significant.

Anyhow, this does nothing to help the OP with his question. Hopefully
he will find a low cost solution. If not, he should just replace the
keyboard.
I suspect he's long gone from this thread (-:! [If I'm wrong, I'd be
interested to know if he solved the problem.]
