keyboard and cursor control

I have a Fujitsu-Siemens B-2154 B-series Lifebook and on
the keyboard when I press Shift 1, instead of an & I am
getting a !. I have 32 such problems with special
characters. The second problem I do not know what to
press to get to the beginning of a line or of a document
or to the end of a line or to the end of a document.

Check in the Control Panel, that you have the correct language settings. In
Word, check under Tools, Languages that the correct language is selected and
set.

To go to the start of a line, press Home: to go to the start of the
document, use Shift+Home. If these keys don't do what you expect, go into
Tools, Options, General Tab and deselect both the WordPerfect options.
