Keyboard 3 Keys at once

Hi,
My keyboard is now refusing to accept more than 2 keystrokes at a time.
For example i cannot "Ctrl Alt Delete" ot "Ctrl Shift Esc" for the task
manager.

This is also very annoying when playing games.
Ive uninstalled recent applications which I thought may have affected
this but with no sucess; it was fine until a few days ago

Anyone help solve this

Thanks in advance

I have disabled System Restore on my computer.

Im actually a computer science student so i'd consider myself an expert
in computers however this has got me stumped.

Anyone alse have any ideas?

My first step then would be to borrow/find another keyboard and see if it
works properly with your PC - ie eliminate posssible hardware problem.

Thanks for the idea,
Ive tried this but with no success.

It used to be fine so im assuming its something ive installed that has
altered a system file. Ive tried unistalling the recent programs but
this hasnt helped

Any other ideas?
Thanks again

First of all try some shortcut keys in Wordpad like Ctrl+B for Bold and try
opening File menu using ALT+F key and so on. See if these keys are working
fine.

If yes, check near the clock if there is a program called "Sticky Keys" (3
small boxes). If it is there double-click on it and uncheck the "Sticky Key"
"Filter Key" settings or all of them. You should also check the Accessbility
option within from Control Panel.

One more thing, have you install any Security Software. They can also
disable Special Keys like CTRL+ALT+DEL.

Let us know!

It is a long shot, but did you assign certain two-key combinations t
some seldom used characters?
Apart from that I agree with the other replies, get an other keybord.
They are cheap as chips nowadays.

Thanks to all for the ideas.
Its definately not the keyboard as the keys work fine on their own.

I did recently install a few shortcut key programs, but have
uninstalled these since. Its definately nothing hijacking my system as
its ALL combinations of 3 keys.

Unfortunately I dont have system restore points enabled either.

Im guessing a program has messed about with some keyboard system files.
Anyone know what these are? How i can fix them?

Thanks again

Again a long shot, try to get rid of all traces of those key programmes
in the registry as well.
Cheers
