Ok, I have a very basic question that so far I have found
no information on. I am trying to format my document by
adding kerning space between the letters to fit the same
space as a line below it. I haven't found anything on
whether I can even do this in Microsoft Works, Windows XP
version. Can someone tell me if this is possible and if
so how can I format it? Thank you.

Hi Kala,

I don't have Works, so I don't know if kerning can even be done there.

However in MS Word, kerning is accomplished by clicking Format | Font |
Character Spacing.

Works classically has been a basic suite, for home use that does not
support such fine points as Kerning. "Works suite" now includes Word as
the word processor. Word (at least the 2002 version in the Office XP
suite) does support Kerning.

None of these applications is a part of Windows XP the operating system
- you have to buy them separately, or bring older versions you may have
forward
