Line spacing set by MS Word

P

Pamela

I'm retyping a document which was originally created by a printer. The space
between the lines is less than single space set by Word. Can someone advise
me how to reduce single line spacing. I need kerning for lines rather than
characters.

From the paragraph format attributes, set the line spacing to an exact
figure that is smaller than the default.

In the Paragraph dialog box, set "Line spacing" to "Multiple" and then
specify an amount smaller than 1 (for example 0.8).
