kernel32.dll error

i have this hood & house program that my grandmother uses i have installed
and reinstalled windows xp time and time again just to get it to work and it
just dont work right i keep getting an error report about it so i desided to
take a ferther look into the problem and its having trouble responding with
kernel32.dll or somthing can some1 hlp me plz
