Hi,

Quite often when I am using my PC laptop to play Football Manager 2006 the screen goes blue and the message 'Data Error' or 'Kernel Fault check' appears and then I have to restart. This is unbelieveably annoying. Does anyone know what I can do to stop this happening?

Any help would be much appreciated. :-)

is that all it says? could you list exactly what it says

It says:

Kernel_stack_inpage_error

and the techincal info says: Stop 0x0000007 (0x0000000e etc)

what motherboard do you have and are you using the ethernet port ?

well microsoft being the great help they are , say to contact 3com about the issue because its something to do with the ethernet controller

the only suggestion i can make is to see if you can get a diffeent driver version for the controller
