Kelly's Shutdown

Hi. Can anyone tell me how this works?
'Auto End Tasks to Enable a Proper Shutdown (Line 76) ' in Kelly's
Korner?
I have a hidden process that I have to shut down with Task Manager in
order to shut down the computer properly. Also affects 'Standby'.
How will Kelly's VBS affect my system and can I undo it if it doesn't
work? Thanks folks.

That VBS script is designed to speed up the shutdown
process by ending many running tasks, many of which are
in the background. It is indeed a setting deployed to
your registry, In order to reverse this the easiest way
is to backup your registry before installing it. That is
done by exporting the current registry to a place you can
find it. Now install the script. You might see a quicker
shutdown. You should time the current shutdown time
versus the script. No matter what this script is safe. If
you are reversing this you need to import that registry
file and over write the settings, if you're not satisfied.

It is a reg file not a vb script. As per your question, use the undo on the
same line.
