keeping my favourite icons

i want to keep the icons that appear next to your favourites in internet
explorer but they dissapear everytime i restart my comp any ideas and i have
had to post this twice as i dont know if the first one went through
succesfully

They're called Favicons. They are stored in Temporary Internet Files (TIF)
and are lost when TIF is cleared or they expire out of TIF. They can be
preserved with this program:
