keeping captions with graphics

What is the best method to ensure that the figure captions "keep with" the
graphic and also will be included in the automatically generated Table of
Contents?

If

a. You do not want to create a style for your graphics,
put the "Keep with next" setting of the containing
paragaph.
b. Create a style "Graphics" with "Keep with next" and
assign the style to all graphics.

TOC:

- The captions are associated to "Caption" style. Add that
style to the TOC (interactively or manually thru the field
codes).
