Keep receiving two "end task" messages when shutting down

I have windows xp and when I shut down a window pops up and says something
like "End Task Network Connections" and after I close that, then another one
pops up and says something about "end task Pro Wireless...." I do have a
wireless router. I don't know why I am getting these messages. I think they
started after I set up outlook to be my email (I use msn for email).

How can I get these to stop popping up? They are annoying. Thank you.

Check the driver and application for your wireless ethernet card - make sure
they are the latest versions.

Have you tried waiting them out? Many times they'll close on their own
in short time.

They do close... it just takes a little longer for the computer to shut
down. And I didn't know if it was a bad thing to have them. I also wrote
down exactly what they say. The first window that pops up says "End Program
Avalable Networks." The second one says "End Program Pro Wireless..." (I
think it's the name of the wireless card).

It's possible you could speed up the closing of those two components, if
you don't actually have a network of computers, and thusly, don't share
files or printers. As a test, in the Network Properties, disable
"Client for Microsoft Networks", and "File and Printer Sharing". Those
are two less things to communicate with before closing down the network
components.

Otherwise, just wait it out, I guess..
