KDCOM.DLL could not be loaded

During a fresh install on a newly formatted hard disk, right after loading
the Hardware Abstraction Layer, this error message pops-up:

File \i386\KDCOM.DLL could not be loaded.
The error code is 4

Setup cannot continue. Press any key to exit.


What should I do?
