have the same problem. I'm wondering if it could be related to Windows Live
OneCare as I've been having trouble there also.
I have resolved this issue. If you have recently used a registry cleaner, it
may have deleted your Microsoft Office GUID info from the registry, causing
installation of KB931764 to fail. See KB884298 for the solution.
