Hi,
I was pointed to this update a while back when I bought a
Office keyboard which caused mstask problems but now
after a windows re-install I need it again and can't for
the life of me find the downloadable update.
Can anyone point me to it ?

Thanks alot.

Hi

Scheduled Tasks May Not Run and Generate an Exit Code of 80
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=812400

As the article states, you need to call Microsoft Product Support Services to
obtain it (outside the US, customers should contact their local Microsoft
subsidiary.). The support call will be be free as long as you refer to the
Knowledge Base Article number (Q812400) and ask for nothing more.

or you can try the workaround that the article states:

WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, disable the Human Interface Device Access service
(the HID Input service), and then restart the computer.
