JVC's Everio Camcorder and PowerPoint Video

I'm looking for some feedback from you PowerPoint gurus.
I'm looking to include video in my PowerPoint presentations and the JVC
Everio Camdcorder seems interesting because it stores on the hard drive in
the camcorder.

I'm planning to use the camcorder to record and use the recordings with
PowerPoint.
Does anyone have any feedback on the Everio camcorder? Have you used it?
How well does PowerPoint handle video like this?

I am fairly familiar with PowerPoint but I have not used inserting of videos.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated !

I'm not familiar with " JVC Everio Camdcorder "

but 2 the main things are:

1) How will I get the file onto a PC
and
2) What format is the video file ?

If you can find that information, please post back
