justify text

Hi,

I want to justify the text in a document but if there are lines with
only three or four words in them I do not want word to spread these
out over the whole line.

Is there any way I can modify the justify text settings?

Cheers

eddiec :)

This usually indicates that you have a manual line break (Shft+Enter) at the
end of the line, instead of a Paragraph Mark (Enter).
If you don't already, turn on the Formattinf Marks (Ctrl+Shift+8 to toggle
and you will see a left bent arrow instead of the Pilcrow (backwards-P).
You can use the Replace function to replace these if you have lots to do.
Click on the More button on the Replace dialog, Special button contains the
options for Manual Line Break and the Paragraph Mark (not Paragraph
Character).
Hope this helps

And if the line break is intentional, there is a Compatibility Option
setting that turns off justification for lines ending in a line break.
