Just upgraded to XP home edition. Can no longer use Japanese characters.

I just upgraded to XP home edition from ME edition. I
used to be able to use Japanese Characters but now I
cant. When I try to open Microsoft Global IME (japanese)
it gives me a message "this requires Office XP". How
come I could use it with ME but not Home XP?

Start > Control Panel > Regional and Language Options > Languages,
Supplemental Language Support > Install files for East Asian
Languages.
