I've just upgraded to Vista when my upgrade concluded the computer restarted
and brought me to a screen that asked whether I'd like to boot in an older
version of windows or go to Windows Setup. If I go to Windows Setup the
screen just goes blank. I'm at a complete loss at what to do.

Your hardware may not be Vista compatable

Have you removed the Vista DVD?

Well, it warns me that my graphics card is incompatible but I'm using the
GeForce 8800 GT, which is brand new and should be vista compatible.

Okay, upon further review my upgrade is not finishing it's actually in the
middle of the third operation when it says that it needs to reboot, then the
problem occurs.

Uninstall anti-virus, then reinstall after upgrade.
Only have monitor, keyboard and mouse connected; connect the rest later.

(If setup becomes non-responsive or does not complete), do a Cold Boot
(reset the machine) > Start the computer, when the Windows Boot Manager is
displayed, select Windows Setup press F8 on your keyboard and setup should
continue.
