Hi Everyone,

Windows XP - Home Edition.
I did a Windows Update Scan ( Express ) Today and it came up with the
Windows XP SP2 Update.
I did NOT Set my System to Automatic Update Beforehand.
It Shows the Windows XP SP2 Update as 75 MB with a Total Download Time
of 3 Hours 22 Minutes ( DialUp ). Does this Mean that it is NOT the
Full Version.
When I bought my Computer it came with Windows XP Home Edition ( OEM )
Already Installed, so I do NOT have the BackUp Utility on the CD-ROM.
I will Save ALL my Data Files to a CD before I Install the Update.
Why is my Update ONLY 75 MB when I have seen Numerous References
saying that it should be 266 MB.
Is there somewhere else I need to Download the Full Version from, or
will I get the Full Version if I Set my System to Automatic Update.

Thanks in Advance.
Paul

Receiving the update via WU gives you only what is necessary for your computer,
not the full SP2 pack.

If you want the full version:

Order Windows XP Service Pack 2 on CD
or download here

Windows XP Service Pack 2
You can save this to CD and use on other computers as well.

Thanks for the Reply Kaylene,

I have Ordered the CD from Microsoft, they Expect Delivery to be
within 28 Days.
That way I can Install the FULL Version in a Far Shorter Space of
Time, especially being on DialUp.
Thanks Very Much for your Help

All the Best
Paul
