Just Formatted, Lagging Really Bad.

I just reformatted and everytime I move a window, or scroll up and down in IE
for example, my computer becomes very laggy. Anyone know a solution to this?

Did you install the latest driver for your display adapter? If
you did, are you sure you're using the best settings?
