Junk Mail in Unread Mail count

How do I stop the junk mails from the Junk Mail folder from appearing in the
Unread count in the Unread Mail folder.

This problem started after I created a new Outllook 2003 .pst file and
moved/copied all the folders from my old Outlook pst file.

You could edit the Unread Messages search folder and exclude the Junk E-mail
folder. Right-click Unread Messages and choose Customize This Search
Folder.
