JUnk mail from same alias "@xyz.com" but many different actual add

One trick used by the spammers is to constantly change the e-mail address,
but leave the From the same... For example, I constantly recieve junk e-mail
From "(e-mail address removed)" where the actual e-mail address is something much
diffierent. The "xyz.com" is a bogus domain name.

I want to filter particular junk mail out, but I haven't located a way to
create a rule that focuses on the From of an e-mail. You can block
particiular e-mail addresses, you can block e-mails with certain words, but
it doesn't appear you can block e-mails from certain junk e-mail with bogus
domain names.

Any ideas? Thanks.

version of outlook?

if you mean by doing a domain name lookup, you'll need a real spam filter -
but in the case of much of my spam, they hijack a legit domain name to use
in the from filter. (I've had my own used like this now and again.)

I'm using Outlook 2003.

Here is a real example:

(e-mail address removed) [[email protected]]

The address shown in the [ ] changes every time I get a spam e-mail from
this christianloanmart.com. I receive 8-10 a day, minimum. I created a rule
to have any e-mail with "christianloanmart" in the Sender's address to be
moved to Junk. Unfortunately, "christianloanmart" is not in the address,
"holyrentnow.com" is... and "holyrentnow.com" will probably never be used
again.

Too bad there doesn't appear to be a way to filter Senders as displayed (the
"(e-mail address removed)").
