Junk Filter waits til I select an email to filter it in IMAP accou

I've recently switched to IMAP and now have two computers running Outlook
2003 with IMAP.

I really like IMAP, but would love to get the Junk Mail Filter running as it
does on a POP account, where it filters incoming email automatically.

On my two IMAP Outlook installations the junk mail comes in with the rest of
my email and sits there until I click on it. Once I click on it, the Junk
Mail filter sorts out spam from non-spam as I click on each email.

It works great, but would be MUCH better to not have to manually select the
emails -- that way I don't see email waiting for me and it also clears it off
the server and thus it doesn't get loaded onto my Treo.

You must select the option to download all the messages in order for the
junk mail filter to work.

That was the solution. Took me a while to discover where to change that
setting -- it's in the define send/receive groups menus, but it works
perfectly.

Thanks!

I tried to change the options on the send/receive options. Actually they
were already set this way. But I still have the problem.
