Outlook 2003, does a fair job. However, the definitions are
seldom update by MS.
If you are only receiving a couple, you can establish
"rules" to automatically send them to "Junk Mail"

Help> Junk Mail
 
For Outlook 2003 look in the Options tab of Junk Email Options for
"Permanently Delete .... "
Use this with caution.
