Blocked addresses goto to junk e-mail

Hello,

I'd like my suspected junk e-mail to go to my junk e-mail folder but I'd
like the ones I've marked as junk -to actually be deleted so I don't ever
see them in my junk e-mail folder. Is there a way to make this automatic?
Frankly I'd like it to track down the owners of the spam find there personal
addresses and sign them up for every junk e-mail listing possible but I'd be
thrilled if I could just get my blocked e-mail addresses to not allow those
addresses to send me e-mail or make them automatically delete as opposed to
goto my junk e-mail folder.

Since you can't mark a message as junk in the first place, you'll need to
use a rule. You cannot alter the behavior of the junk filter. All you can
to is add senders to the Block Senders list, and that's in no way the same
as marking a message as junk. So, that you'll need to do is to use a rule
instead of the Blocked Senders list, listing the addresses you entered into
the Blocked Senders list within the rule.

That said, both the Blocked Senders list and a rule as I described are
extremely poor ways to manage junk mail because spammers rarely reuse
addresses, so your Blocked Senders list or your rule keep getting bigger and
bigger without actually doing much good.

Others have tried this and have found themselves the victims of mass mail
bombs and denial of service attacks. Howeverm much we'd like to do it, it's
a pipe dream.

Thanks, I set up the domains as blocked not just the address. The reason
I noticed that the "blocking" wasn't blocking is because I get a lot of spam
mail from the same places. Only problem is that if you sign up to remove
yourself from their mailing list, I've heard many companies use that list to
confirm an active e-mail address and sell that list to other spammers.

It's a shame we don't have a do not spam list to go with our do not call
list.

if it's true spam, signing off won't work. It should safely work to remove
yourself from lists you signed up for - such as for legitimate newsletters
or advertisements from companies you purchase from.

it's better to get a real antispam program if outlook's doesn't meet your
needs.
