Junk E-mail Folder / Exchange

Sorry for the cross post, but I am not sure which end of the configuration
is causing me the trouble. Here is the story, I have a rather standard
environment based upon Windows 2003 servers and Windows XP workstations
running Outlook 2003. At the server level I have installed and configured
GFI mail essentials for spam protection. The GFI product is configured to
move spam to the junk e-mail folder. For the most part this is working
perfectly. Except however for the owners mailbox.... Isn't that always the
way? GFI's logs tell me that it is moving the tagged spam to the users junk
e-mail folder, but it is not. The mail is getting deleted somehow. I had
first went down the road of tech support from GFI, but I have say that their
support is terrible and their reponse's take way too long to come back. So
I am coming here. I have ensured that the filtering option for this user is
enabled through OWA as per GFI's doc's. I have went through everything with
the exception of completely deleting this user and starting from scratch. I
might also add that this user has over 3 gig's in their mailbox on the
Exchange server and we are using cached mode. Where can I turn to attempt
to troubleshoot this? It is odd that only 1 user is exeperiencing this type
of behavior.

Ed,

I'd take a look at the user's rules. Also make sure the user hasn't
installed a local anti-spam package. Since GFI is not doing this to other
user's email it is safe to rule it out as an issue.

Kind Regards,
