Jumpy vidio and sound

When I am playing all of the games and anything that has to do with the
vidio and sound, this thing is jumpy and has repeat sound. How do I fix it so
it runs smoothly? Its real hard to land an airplane if the vidio keeps
frezing and restarting.

Well I'm no audio/video expert, but the first thing in my mind is that you
need to do one or all of the following:
1. Get a stronger Video card
2. Get more system memory
3. Turn down your video settings!

It would be helpful for both you and those who would help you if you weren't
so vague about your problem. I mean if you go to the doctor and say 'I feel
funny' he probably won't be able to diagnose your condition based on that
alone!
I can't say that I can fix your problem, but I can say that without knowing
what games you're playing (A flight Sim I assume), what video card, sound
card, installed memory and operating system, you probably won't get the
solution you seek.
Research these things, post your findings and someone should be able to help
you further!

Peace & chicken grease...

Ok, me guess me a little dumb and stinging from chewing out, but here goes: I am running a Systemax AMD2.5 gig with 1 gig ram, a All- in Wonder Radeon, 80 gig harddrive and a bunch of other stuff that I can't remember off the top of my head. As soon as I find the list, I'll add to the messages. This has just started this with the games. The flight sim is Microsoft. The other games are URU, MIST REVELATIONS, LDS(LINE OF SIGHT), BOOKWORM DELUXE,and what ever else I try to run. The jumping and stopping is a little nerve racking. I have tried to adjust the vidio to a lesser spot but,hey that don't work either. Maybe I will just have to take this to someone that doesn't bite my head off!!

Hey I wasn't trying to bite your head off or anything! Honestly, your first
post was a little vague to me. I re-read my post and I do sound a little
a$$holey, but I didn't mean to! I'm just not sure what solution I could
offer without knowing more about what you have in your box, what you're
running or what you've ruled out thus far. Did you install/upgrade
something off the game disks like DirectX? Do you have same problem running
video? I'm assuming you have XP (Pro?). Anything in Event Log? I had the
All In Wonder 128 with TV I/O and it had problems with some games and I
would get a error in Event Log about DirectX conflict with the card. Games
were stuttering very badly but video was good. Got new G-Force and much
happier.

Sorry bout that:) I found a program in this confusser(computer) that is called TECH-IN-A-BOX and by entering my serial number of the thing, it brought up my whole computer and sent me to updated drivers and software. This thing is working right now and even sounds better. I also do AUTOCAD drafting on this, so the jumping has stopped with the new drivers. I guess next time I will look a little more. The only other thing that I can't get to work is the "print screen" but I can usually live without it. I am running XP home edition and may upgrade to pro later. Of course I will change the power supply when I do that. I would like to get this screeming.
