Jumpy & sluggish playback

When I import a video and add title and end credits. when
I play back it is sluggish and the audio gets off track.
when I play the clip normal in WMP9 it plays back fine.
just not in Movie Maker. Whats is might be the problem??

Hi Rebecca,

I would guess you are playing back the composition in MM2 which means MM2
has to work out what to do next and then display it. With complex
compositions this can create a very large overhead and result in a jerky
picture etc. Once you save it to a file you will be able to play it as you
intended it to play....whatever player you use simply displays the next bit,
it does not have to do any calculations...the result assuming all is fine
elsewhere, will be a smooth presentation.

If you import that presentation back into MM2, you will find that it will
play smoothly there as well.
